Global warming affects everyone. As an organisation, we therefore want to be accountable for the effects of our actions on the environment in the broadest sense of the word. For Amstel Advocaten, corporate social responsibility means the following: high-quality legal services with an eye for a pleasant and stimulating working climate and the environment.
Involvement: Amstel Advocaten shows social involvement in several ways:
Providing subsidized legal aid;
Recognized training company for HBO students;
Sponsorship of charities.
We want to embed corporate social responsibility in the organisation. In our view, this only works if the employees always ask themselves what he or she can do about it.
Personnel policy: The well-being of employees and a good, open working atmosphere in which there is room for humor and dialogue are very important. All employees receive ample training and development opportunities. We have an almost equal percentage of female and male employees.
Conscious choices: Amstel Advocaten has consciously opted for a central location close to Central Station and the roads in Amsterdam. Travel by car is minimized and we use bicycles and public transport where possible. We work with a digital library and try to reduce the use of FSC-certified paper. We try to eat meatless lunches, separate waste and use LED lamps. We print as little as possible and when we print, we print in black and white and as much double-sided as possible. Sustainability is taken into account when purchasing all products and services.
